Kos is a small island – it’s only 50 kilometres long and 12 kilometres wide. Despite its small size, there are quite many attractions. Nowadays you can go by a ferry to Kos thanks to the ferry connections of Blue Star lines (Piraeus-Rhodes-Kastelorizo/Kasos route). If you prefer faster connections, use the services of the nearby Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. You can reach Kos from Athens by air with carriers such as Aegean Airlines/Olympic Airlines and Sky Express.
